We designed this one around the part of the job nobody photographs: the half hour before the first frame.
The surface is polyester, which gives you a matte face that will not throw the key back at the lens. You also get a heavy-duty build. Specifications here are read straight off our own listing — no rounding, no best case.
Key features
- Double Zippers. Heavy duty zippers are more smooth and durable, jams rarely occur. Each sandbag has two zippers. If you accidentally damage a zipper during use, the double zipper design will still allow you to use the sandbag as normal.
- Easy to use. You can find some sand near the house and put it into a PE sealed bag, and put the PE bag filled with sand into the sandbag. In addition to sand, weight bag can also be filled with gravel, steel balls, soil, pebbles, etcYou can use the carabiners to hang the photography sandbag wherever you need. Our sand bags are easy to carry and can be reused many times.
- Multiple Application. Suitable for photography, photo studio, video shooting, light stand, tripod, canopy, patio, camping tents, picnic and any other indoor or outdoor occasion.

In the box
【Package Include】 8PCS photography sandbags, 8 PCS carabiners, and 16 PE sealed bags. Tips: The sandbag is empty and does not contain sand. Do not fill with water, there is a large possibility of leakage.
【Solid & Durable】 Made of 1680d polyester fabric, which is wear-resistant, sturdy, water proof and not easy to tear. The rubber lining can keep the sand or other contents from escaping. Each sandbag can hold up to 26 pounds, but the actual max weight of the sandbag will vary due to the different densities of the contents.
Where it sits in the range
EMART overhead camera rigs, magic arms, super clamps, suction mounts, ball heads, sandbags and the small metal that holds a photography backdrop stand together.
Where it earns its place
Grip is everything between the camera and whatever it is attached to. Clamps hold backdrop fabric to a crossbar, arms hang a small light off a shelf, plates let a body come off a tripod without unscrewing anything. None of it is interesting and all of it is why a set stays where you left it.
Matching it to a photography backdrop stand
Work out the size from the room rather than from the catalogue. Measure the wall you shoot against, take a foot off each end for the legs, and what is left is the span a frame opens to and can honestly accommodate. Height is the figure people change their mind about later: seven feet suits a seated subject, while a standing full-length shot wants the frame fully expanded so the top edge of a seamless white, muslin, black or green surface stays out of shot. Space behind the subject matters as much as space across it — stood directly against the surface, anybody picks up its texture. In a small room, give yourself a little extra at the back so an additional panel or a prop can go in without everything having to move. As a general rule, choosing one size up costs less than choosing one size down.
Setting it up
It opens from folded in one pass, with no tools. Each telescopic section is adjustable along its length, mounting is the standard thread studio fittings use, and setup is quick enough that you assemble it after the subject has arrived rather than an hour before. Stability comes from the base rather than the column: spread the legs fully, position the feet out of the walkway, and it sits stable on a floor that is not quite flat. Anything heavy hanging on the system wants weight at the feet as well.
Clamps, hooks and the top edge
Hang the surface a little narrower than the crossbar so it has something to pull against. A spring clamp secures each corner, hooks carry the middle, and that clamp will just as happily hold a light modifier or pin a cable to a tripod tube when the kit outgrows the room.
Bag, case and care
The bag in the package is the one it will spend its life in: collapsible frame, small parts, extra clamps. Folded it is portable enough for a train and compact enough for a boot. Material and durability are the same question here. Aluminum alloy is the light choice and steel the enhanced one, and the quality of a design shows in whether a section still locks after a year. Professional gear is rarely powerful; it is excellent at being predictable, which is practicality rather than polish. Care is minimal: wipe the sections, keep the clamps in the same bag, store it dry. Roll fabric rather than folding it and a wrinkle stops being something you plan around.

Excellent product for my purposes!!!
Honestly there's not a huge amount to comment on about these. I'm a photographer and I got these to weigh down/ stabilize my tripod and monolight stands. The plastic bags they include worked fine work me, I filled them up with sand and there was no leakage. Still put that in a heavy duty ziplock though just to be 110% sure. The nylon bags themselves are okay as far as durability although the zippers can be a bit annoying to open and close, but that's not really something to complain about imo. Especially since I doubt I'll be opening and closing them too often. I like the addition of hooks as well, for the just in case situations. Long story less long... they're a decent sand bag. For in studio and occasional outside photographer work, I'd recommend them. They do exactly what they're supposed to, a very decent value for your money.

Not bad
Very easy to assemble. Only reason I gave it a 4 star is because sometimes the zippers get caught or are hard to zip. Overall works well.
