We keep our 13x8ft Green Screen Backdrop with Stand Portable Green Screen in the range because most shoots need one dependable frame, not five clever ones.

We build it in aluminium alloy and polyester because gear that lives in a car boot gets handled badly. It arrives with a collapsible frame and a portable format. We keep one listing per size so you are never guessing which box arrives.

Key features

  • Stable Frame & Flexible Movement. The green screen backdrop is equipped with an aluminum alloy frame, which is stable and lightweight. It can be moved freely to adjust shooting angles, adapting to different shooting scenarios and maintaining good stability both indoors and outdoors
  • Premium Quality Materials. Built to last, iron backdrop stand ensures stability and durability. The polyester green screen is soft, non-reflective, and can be ironed and washed. Say goodbye to wrinkles and enjoy a seamless background
  • Wide Application Scenarios. With a wide-angle view, this backdrop kit accommodates multiple people in one shot. It is suitable for video chromakey, studio photography, live streaming, gaming, parties, meetings and more, meeting diverse shooting needs

Where it earns its place

A green screen is a background built to be thrown away in the edit, which puts all of the quality into the surface: matte, even and flat across everything the lens sees. Ours serve streaming desks, recorded interviews and product photography, and they hang from the same crossbar as every other backdrop we make.

What size EMART backdrop stand this suits

Work out the size from the room rather than from the catalogue. Measure the wall you shoot against, take a foot off each end for the legs, and what is left is the span a frame opens to and can honestly accommodate. Height is the figure people change their mind about later: seven feet suits a seated subject, while a standing full-length shot wants the frame fully expanded so the top edge of a seamless white, muslin, black or green surface stays out of shot. Space behind the subject matters as much as space across it — stood directly against the surface, anybody picks up its texture. In a small room, give yourself a little extra at the back so an additional panel or a prop can go in without everything having to move. As a general rule, choosing one size up costs less than choosing one size down.

Setting it up

Setup, in order: extend each telescopic section, lock the adjustable collar, then square the base. The mounting fitting is standard, so heads and clamps from other stands assemble onto it without an adaptor, and it all happens quickly with two hands. The legs open wide, and that width is the stability — not the thickness of the tube. Position the base so nobody kicks a foot, and add weight at the feet whenever the load is heavy or people are moving across the room behind the frame.

Hanging it and holding it steady

A spring clamp at each corner secures the top edge and hooks spread the load along the crossbar, so the surface hangs straight instead of scalloping between two points. The same clamp keeps a light cable or a tripod leg out of frame when the kit gets crowded, without needing a second pair of hands.

Bag, case and care

It packs into the carry bag it arrives in — a portable, collapsible package small enough to live in a car boot between shoots, which is the only way gear gets used weekly. Aluminium alloy keeps the weight sensible; the metal that decides durability sits in the locks and the joints, not the finish. The design is pro in the only sense that matters — practicality over appearance — and the material trade is plain: aluminum travels, steel survives. Care is minimal: wipe the sections, keep the clamps in the same bag, store it dry. Roll fabric rather than folding it and a wrinkle stops being something you plan around.
