If the room is borrowed and the call time is tight, this is the kit we would carry in.
The build runs to metal, which keeps the weight sensible without giving up on the joints. The build includes a heavy-duty build, telescopic sections and a portable format. We would rather you bought the smaller frame and used it than the big one that stays in the bag.

Where it sits in the range
Every EMART set starts with the same question: what is holding the background up? These are our photography backdrop stands — single crossbar, double, triple, T-shape and full pipe and drape — sized by the width of background they carry.
Where it earns its place
A photography backdrop stand earns its keep by being boring. The frame goes up, the background hangs straight and nothing else in the room has to move. The same support stand serves portraits, seated interviews, pet photography and a photo booth at a wedding, because the job does not change: a clean surface behind the subject that stays where you put it.
What size EMART backdrop stand this suits
Choosing the size is arithmetic rather than taste. Measure the wall across, subtract roughly a foot at each end for the legs and the fittings, and you have the span the frame has to accommodate when it is fully open. Height comes next, and it is the figure that changes once a subject stands: a seated portrait is happy at seven feet, a standing one wants everything expanded so the top edge of a muslin, seamless white, black or green surface stays above the shot. Keep a step of space behind the subject rather than putting them directly against the surface. In a small room, buy a little extra width — that is where an additional panel, a light or a prop ends up living. As a general matter, one size up forgives more than one size down.
Setting it up
It opens from folded in one pass, with no tools. Each telescopic section is adjustable along its length, mounting is the standard thread studio fittings use, and setup is quick enough that you assemble it after the subject has arrived rather than an hour before. The legs open wide, and that width is the stability — not the thickness of the tube. Position the base so nobody kicks a foot, and add weight at the feet whenever the load is heavy or people are moving across the room behind the frame.
Clamps, hooks and the top edge
A spring clamp at each corner secures the top edge and hooks spread the load along the crossbar, so the surface hangs straight instead of scalloping between two points. The same clamp keeps a light cable or a tripod leg out of frame when the kit gets crowded, without needing a second pair of hands.
Bag, case and care
It packs into the carry bag it arrives in — a portable, collapsible package small enough to live in a car boot between shoots, which is the only way gear gets used weekly. The quality worth paying for is boring: metal collars that still grip, a design with no part that only works while new. Aluminum keeps a pro kit portable, heavier metal makes it durable, and durability on gear like this is an argument about joints. We would rather sound dull than claim an excellent finish. Wipe the metal down after an outdoor event, keep the small parts together, and store it standing rather than flat under something heavier. Fabric care is one rule: rolled, not folded — a wrinkle photographs.

Was a winner at prom!
This is a great stand!! I used to invest in the tripod base stand but this is a game changer! The stand is very sturdy, expands to a very high height and width. The base is great and held up very well through all the picture taking. If you are second guessing click buy now!! Definitely great to have in your event planning arsenal.

Good product
Good product but we use this in the field. The base took too long for us to assemble. But that is just us. We like to have our tent and stuff up within 15 mins. Other than that... good for the price. Nice carrying bag.
