Where it sits in the range
Every EMART set starts with the same question: what is holding the background up? These are our photography backdrop stands — single crossbar, double, triple, T-shape and full pipe and drape — sized by the width of background they carry.
The job it does
This is a support system first and a photography accessory second. Hang a muslin, a white sweep, a black drape or a green chroma panel across the crossbar and the frame does not care which. What it cares about is the span, the working height and the weight at the legs — the three figures that decide whether a background stand is the right size for your room.
Matching it to a photography backdrop stand
Choosing the size is arithmetic rather than taste. Measure the wall across, subtract roughly a foot at each end for the legs and the fittings, and you have the span the frame has to accommodate when it is fully open. Height comes next, and it is the figure that changes once a subject stands: a seated portrait is happy at seven feet, a standing one wants everything expanded so the top edge of a muslin, seamless white, black or green surface stays above the shot. Keep a step of space behind the subject rather than putting them directly against the surface. In a small room, buy a little extra width — that is where an additional panel, a light or a prop ends up living. As a general matter, one size up forgives more than one size down.
Getting it standing
Setup is hands only. The sections are telescopic, so you assemble it by pulling up and locking rather than by counting parts, and the adjustable collars let you stop anywhere between the stops. Mounting uses the standard fitting for this type of gear, so it mates with what is already in your bag, and it goes up quickly enough to do alone. The legs open wide, and that width is the stability — not the thickness of the tube. Position the base so nobody kicks a foot, and add weight at the feet whenever the load is heavy or people are moving across the room behind the frame.
Clamps, hooks and the top edge
The crossbar carries the hang, the hooks spread it and a spring clamp secures the corners. Keep two spare clamps in the kit: one ends up on a light, one on a tripod tube, and neither is worth needing and not having.
Travel, bag and care
It packs into the carry bag it arrives in — a portable, collapsible package small enough to live in a car boot between shoots, which is the only way gear gets used weekly. Durability lives in the fittings. Aluminum alloy gives an enhanced strength for the weight, the material of the locking collars decides the rest, and the practicality of a professional design beats a powerful specification nobody uses. Quality here means the metal has not moved in a year. Keep it dry and the care budget is a cloth. Grit in a joint wears a section faster than rain does; a rolled surface arrives without a wrinkle, a folded one arrives with a map of itself.

BEST ON THE MARKET
unfortunately I don't have any pictures of this thing but this is perfect for anyone who owns a studio. Mounting is easy, came with all the necessary tools. Only recommendation I have is that you mount this on a 2 by 4 wooden board and not directly on the wall, for stability reason. Not necessary but will help.

Great Value
Worked out very well. Only recommendations would be to have a QR code link for installation of someone were to run into troubles installing and color pictures for the installation book. Other than that nice sturdy product

Does what it’s made to do!
I got this roller system for my studio and it’s been great. Was easy to install using toggle bolts and I recommend a metal backdrop pole for the inside of your backdrop roll to avoid the paper from bowing in the middle after time.
