Where it sits in the range
Every EMART set starts with the same question: what is holding the background up? These are our photography backdrop stands — single crossbar, double, triple, T-shape and full pipe and drape — sized by the width of background they carry.
The job it does
This is a support system first and a photography accessory second. Hang a muslin, a white sweep, a black drape or a green chroma panel across the crossbar and the frame does not care which. What it cares about is the span, the working height and the weight at the legs — the three figures that decide whether a background stand is the right size for your room.
Matching it to a photography backdrop stand
Work out the size from the room rather than from the catalogue. Measure the wall you shoot against, take a foot off each end for the legs, and what is left is the span a frame opens to and can honestly accommodate. Height is the figure people change their mind about later: seven feet suits a seated subject, while a standing full-length shot wants the frame fully expanded so the top edge of a seamless white, muslin, black or green surface stays out of shot. Space behind the subject matters as much as space across it — stood directly against the surface, anybody picks up its texture. In a small room, give yourself a little extra at the back so an additional panel or a prop can go in without everything having to move. As a general rule, choosing one size up costs less than choosing one size down.
Getting it standing
It opens from folded in one pass, with no tools. Each telescopic section is adjustable along its length, mounting is the standard thread studio fittings use, and setup is quick enough that you assemble it after the subject has arrived rather than an hour before. Stability comes from the base rather than the column: spread the legs fully, position the feet out of the walkway, and it sits stable on a floor that is not quite flat. Anything heavy hanging on the system wants weight at the feet as well.
Clamping, hooks and the crossbar
Clamp the corners first and even out the middle afterwards — the top edge is the part that shows. Hooks along the crossbar keep the hang even, a spring clamp secures anything that moves, and one spare clamp per kit saves needing an improvised fix on a tripod or a light tube.
Travel, bag and care
It packs into the carry bag it arrives in — a portable, collapsible package small enough to live in a car boot between shoots, which is the only way gear gets used weekly. Aluminium alloy keeps the weight sensible; the metal that decides durability sits in the locks and the joints, not the finish. The design is pro in the only sense that matters — practicality over appearance — and the material trade is plain: aluminum travels, steel survives. Wipe the metal down after an outdoor event, keep the small parts together, and store it standing rather than flat under something heavier. Fabric care is one rule: rolled, not folded — a wrinkle photographs.

Excellent product for my purposes!!!
Honestly there's not a huge amount to comment on about these. I'm a photographer and I got these to weigh down/ stabilize my tripod and monolight stands. The plastic bags they include worked fine work me, I filled them up with sand and there was no leakage. Still put that in a heavy duty ziplock though just to be 110% sure. The nylon bags themselves are okay as far as durability although the zippers can be a bit annoying to open and close, but that's not really something to complain about imo. Especially since I doubt I'll be opening and closing them too often. I like the addition of hooks as well, for the just in case situations. Long story less long... they're a decent sand bag. For in studio and occasional outside photographer work, I'd recommend them. They do exactly what they're supposed to, a very decent value for your money.

Not bad
Very easy to assemble. Only reason I gave it a 4 star is because sometimes the zippers get caught or are hard to zip. Overall works well.
